The watermelon rind we all tend to throw away is filled with antioxidants that will help us strengthen, rejuvenate and recover our body. Many cosmetic products use it, but did you know that it can be also used for treatment of some conditions?
In case of a headache, take a watermelon rind and put it on each side of your forehead. Use a scarf or a bandage to fasten it well. When you feel that it has started to heat up, use new watermelon rinds. Take them off when you’re sure that the pain is gone.
Taka a watermelon rind and cut its upper green layer. The soft white piece should be grinded well. You can also cut it and then put it in the oven to dry it at a minimal temperature. Make sure it’s semi-dry. Take it out and put it to dry at room temperature on a piece of paper. Combine 1 spoon of honey with 1 spoonful of dried rind. Eat this and drink some water afterwards. This should be repeated 3 times every day. Soon, the condition will be completely improved.
Remove salts from your body
This is a recipe that will include the green part of the watermelon rind. It should be dried and then grinded into powder. Combine 1 glass of boiling water with 1 tablespoon of the prepared powder. It should be drained after 1 hour. Drink ¼ of a cup 3-4 times every day after your meals. Do this 1 week and then for 7 more days, when you’ll drink ½ a cup 3-4 times every day.
Rejuvenating face mask
Take the upper rind of the watermelon and peel it. Don’t use the outer green part! Combine it with some sour cream. The mixture should be dense. Add it 1 spoonful of honey. Put it on your neck, décolleté and face and let it stay like that for 30 minutes. Use plenty of warm water to eliminate it. Put some light cream in the end. The mask should be used twice a week.
